Testimonies
Others felt that my horse might be the problem, but I wasn’t sure. I needed to establish my confidence while riding. Through the techniques that Danielle and Kim have taught me and my horse, I have found how to work with my horse instead of against my horse. I have learned the proper way to ask my horse to perform tasks and much to my amazement, he has responded successfully. I am amazed by the wisdom that Danielle has in explaining concepts and applying them to real life situations. She is truly wise and patient beyond her years. I have been able to regain my confidence in my abilities to work with my horse. If you have ever felt that sick feeling in your stomach when someone mentions a trail ride like I did, you should take lessons at Crystal Creek Ranch. Now when someone mentions a trail ride instead of getting a sick feeling in my stomach, I ask when and where.

We worked on giving to light pressure at the horse clinic at CCR. It was very rewarding having Ruger respond to a slight lift on his reins.

The Three day riding clinic with Carly Davis, Kim and Danielle Crooks was awesome! I never knew that you could teach a horse so much in just three day's. They worked as a great team in teaching me how to work with my horse and giving me the tools that I need to continue working with her. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has a horse!

“I like how they teach Grace with her horse riding lessons. Danielle’s really good about explaining things to Grace. She’s got a tactful way of teaching her how to learn. We brought [Grace] here because we wanted her to learn about horses, and how to take care of them. She was interested in riding, and we don’t have horses ourselves, so we were able to find [Crystal Creek Ranch] on the internet, and here we are.”

Trainers
The following testimonies are from trainers that have worked with Kim and Danielle, several of them from around the country.
The Crooks family is a fine example of how hard work, patience, and integrity leads to an effective training environment and accomplished horses. I had the opportunity to spend several weeks riding at their training facility over the past two summers, and found Kim and Danielle to be constantly striving to increase their knowledge and improve their training methods with the latest techniques. The Crooks will find the best way to get the job done right and then will patiently teach you so you can do the same. They are attentive to your needs, and I cannot say enough about how genuine they are.
