A Construction Contractor of any specialty needs to have
specific knowledge and experience in what they are doing to
know what a good job looks like. The last 10 years have brought
an influx of Construction Contractors: Tower, General, Building,
Civil and Electrical into our industry. Many of them don’t
know what a good job looks like. It is evidenced in the workmanship
left behind in poorly constructed sites, inferior foundations,
improperly installed towers, antennas, lines, connectors and
the like.
Wireless Legacy specializes in knowing what a good job looks
like. Since 1956 when Jim Crooks first climbed a tower to
solve a problem that the Tower Contractor could not solve,
the Crooks family has been pursuing the highest level of quality
and integrity in our field. Our pursuit continued with the
development of the industry’s first Tower Technology
training class and included other custom training classes
for the tower industry. Our pursuit of excellence further
included becoming the first trainer for Anritsu Wiltron in
the mid 90’s.
The pursuit of excellence continues today at Wireless Legacy.
We are still engaged in training the industry in Tower Technology,
and in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue through ComTrain.
We are also assisting OSHA to develop an industry specific
form of the 10 and 30 hour OSHA Outreach classes through PTSI
training. We apply our experience and education on construction
projects for such companies as US Cellular, Cellular One,
TeleCorp, Wireless Facilities and AT&T.
With knowledge of what a good job looks like and specific
experience in constructing sites, we are able to construct
a site correctly the first time. This mitigates or eliminates
the “maintenance” costs later resulting from poor
quality craftsmanship during the initial construction.
Whether performing tower construction or general contracting,
Wireless Legacy is a cost effective choice for properly constructed
sites the first time.
